Supraphon has its roots all the way back in 1927. In the 30s they developed their first Record player - quite a marvel at the time. The Recordings were mainly of music by Czech composers like Smetana, Dvorak, Janacek, Martinu and Zelenka, but has since grown to include all classical music.
